Transportation Specialists are the wonderful people that form the driving infrastructure that make up our blood delivery routes in Montana. Sometimes the drives are from Missoula to surrounding towns (Plains, Superior, Salmon) but we also need people for the longer drives to Great Falls after blood drives have ended. Volunteers use Red Cross vehicles, are reimbursed for a meal while on shift and can have a navigator ride along with them.

Disaster Health Services Teams
Disaster Health Services Service Associate- Licensed professionals provide assistance and healthcare to shelter residents, including health assessments, replacement of medication and consumable medical supplies.
Disaster Health Services Supervisor- Act as the liaison for the Disaster Health Services Team. Oversee and provide advocacy for shelter clients. Must have current and unencumbered license with experience as charge nurse, EMS team lead or physician.

Volunteers of America ~ Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) & Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)

HVRP provides homeless / at risk Veterans assistance w/obtaining gainful, long term, and meaningful employment. HVRP provides additional job hunting support services called “Individual Case Management” which includes job search assistance (resume reviews / preparation, referrals, interviewing skills, and retention / post-employment services), vocational training (financial assistance to get into training programs), transportation assistance, work tools / phone / clothing assistance.
SSVF is designed to assist with housing stability. Eligible veterans receive case management and referrals to Veteran Administration (VA) and community resources for securing or maintaining permanent housing. Participants may be eligible to receive short term financial assistance. SSVF provides eligible Veteran families with Case Management, assistance obtaining VA benefits, and other supportive services
